Yes! Plant Water Reminder is completely free for up to 5 plants. There are no ads, no trial periods, and no hidden fees. If you want to track more than 5 plants, there's an optional one-time purchase of $1.99 for unlimited plants.
Notification delivery depends on your Android settings. Try these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Apps > Plant Water Reminder > Notifications and make sure notifications are enabled.
2. Make sure the app is not in your phone's battery optimization list. Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization and set Plant Water Reminder to "Not Optimized".
3. Some phone manufacturers (Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung) have aggressive battery management. You may need to allow the app to run in the background in your phone's settings.
4. Restart your phone and try again.
Yes. All data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app, your plant data will be deleted. We recommend noting down your plants and schedules before uninstalling if you plan to reinstall later.
Currently, there is no cloud sync or export feature. Your data is stored locally on your device only. We may add backup/restore functionality in a future update.
Try these steps:
1. Make sure you have an active internet connection.
2. Close and reopen the app.
3. Go to the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions > Budget & history and verify the purchase appears.
4. If the purchase shows but the app hasn't unlocked, try restarting your phone.
